Safety & Calibration Guide

Safety & Calibration Guide

Standard safety recommendations for garment machinery operators and factory managers.

1. Mechanical Safety Measures

Ensure all industrial sewing machines are fitted with original finger guards and eye shields. Operators should never disable safety mechanisms. Always power off machines before threading, needle changes, or looper timing calibrations.

2. Boiler & Pressing Stations

Automatic steam boilers operate under high pressure. Maintenance teams must inspect pressure release valves, water feeds, and boiler scale levels weekly. Always vent steam lines fully before starting repairs or timing audits.

3. Routine Calibrations

Looper timing, needle clearances, and feed dog height adjustments should only be done by certified service technicians. Symmetrical setups and correct timing reduce fabric puckering, stitch skipping, and needle breakages.
